I can understand why Bush never used this 2000, since it would have called the actions of his brother Neil into question, but how did Mitt Romney's folks miss this opportunity. With Keating, McCain was nailed for trying to stop the investigation of Keating's Lincoln Savings and Loan, so how would he pursue bad actors (and clearly there were some) who made out on the mortgage problem of today.
